Tonya Schuitmaker has been practicing law since 1993. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Business, from Michigan State University in 1990. She graduated Cum Laude from the Detroit College of Law. While attending the Detroit College of Law, she interned with Michigan Supreme Court Justice Dorothy Comstock Riley in 1991;and, in 1992,she interned with the Cass County Prosecutor's Office.
