The
weir water control structure installation –Ohio Contractors’ Association Central
Ohio Chapter came through multiple times this year. They cut a slot in the weir
and pumped the lake down so that the overlook and recontouring could take
place. They have now made and installed a stop log structure so that the lake
water level can be adjusted according to what is needed for good vegetation
growth. These photos were taken Dec. 19:

the Shore workdays – September 2007. Community members turned out in impressive
numbers to seed, install stone, remove invasive vegetation and install goose
barriers around the lake edges where construction has been completed.
