Peggy 's Home Page

I AM SAD TO INFORM ALL WHO HAS VISITED THIS SITE AND THOSE WHO WILL STILL COME, THAT PEGGY PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 1ST 2009. SHE DIED PEACEFULLY IN HER SLEEP AND NOW IS WITH HER LOVE, THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS. I WILL KEEP THIS SITE GOING AS LONG AS I CAN. HER LOVING HUSBAND. I MISS YOU,BOB. THIS SITE WAS BUILT IN 2006.

I wish to dedicate this web site to the Sacred Heart Of Jesus. The love of my heart. The center of my life.

First I would like to tell you how a life time of devotion to the Scared Heart of Jesus has carried me through one illness after another. All in eight years.

I volunteered for about 5 years at one of our local Catholic Churches. I was a Communion Minister at our church and also volunteered to take Communion to home bound people on the first Friday of each month. I also gave Communion to patients at our local hospital. I worked in the soup kitchen of our local church for nearly five years and helped serve food to over 100 needy men and woman each day I worked.

I really enjoyed it all until I came down with severe Emphysema 8 years ago and had to go on oxygen 24/7. Then I found out I had gallstones, but due to my lungs, major surgery wasn't an option. Then came breast cancer. Was able to tolerate a lumpectomy and now after 6 years I am cancer free. Then a benign meningioma (tumor) on the brain showed up on a CAT Scan.

Jesus brought me through all of these things one by one. Not much left of my lungs, but I can still be a volunteer for Jesus. I can help so many people with my prayers. There are so many sick, lonely, and forgotten people who need prayer.

I can't get to Church as often as I would like because of my health, but I try and go to Adoration when ever possible. Here is where The Sacred Heart opens His arms to me and I open my heart to Him. This is where I get all my strength. Just sitting there brings so much peace.
