Sam patted the earth beneath his hand with a satisfied smile.  Soon, Mr. Frodo should have a nice crop of vegetables for winter storage.  Gathering up his tools, Sam headed for the tool shed and opened the door to put them away so he could prepare supper before going home.

A hand reached out, yanked Sam inside and pushed him against the wall.  Hands ran over his back quickly, lips pressing firmly to his own in a rough, passionate kiss.  Those hands made Sam shiver against their owner.

Sam gasped.  Breaking the kiss he whispered, “Your cousins didn’t see you come in here, did they sir?”

Bright eyes flashed in the dim lighting before Sam felt full lips nibbling against the tip of his ear.

Sam groaned, unbuttoning his shirt.  Fingers touched his exposed skin lightly.  “I was beginning to believe we’d never have a moment alone, Merry.”

Grey eyes smiled into Sam’s hazel ones.  “Never doubt for a second that I failed to come up with a backup plan...”
