Nice detailed replicas of the 2,200 year
old "Terra Cotta" tomb warriors of China's 1st
Emperor Qin Shi-huang-di. In 1974 an entire ancient
Chinese army division on parade, some 7000 life-size
earthenware soldiers copies from once live models,
were found burried still in marching formation some
20 feet underground. The purpose of this legion of
backed clay soldiers was to provide a military guard
for their dead emporor commander's tomb, serving for
eternity against grave robbers, the tomb also
protected by deadly armed mechanical crossbows and
quicksand traps, as well as with numerous buried
alive artisans who knew too much about the tomb. The
available Xian China tomb soldiers are ivory in color,
and are 12 to 16 cm tall polymer castings. Soldiers
are randomly selected from the 8 types on hand. Photo shows
