entitled: "DR STRANGELOVE - or How I Learned to Stop
Worrying and Love the Bomb", a novel by Peter George,
based on the movie screenplay by Stanley Kubrick.
This hard back book contains around two dozen photos
from the film, and has a near perfect dust jacket.
Because the Dr. Strangelove film was made in the wake
of the Cuban Missile Crisis it was received as quite
a nightmarish comedy during a time when large-scale
nuclear annihalation was actually the fearful
everyday reality for an entire world. Included with
this book is an actual seen service, now disbanned,
Strategic Air Command uniform patch, which features a
armoured SAC fist holding B-52 delivered nuclear
lightning bolts amoug the clouds. So what is being
