HIGH POWER ROCKETRY
You want power, here it is. High power rockets use engines E and above and many of these rockets will go about two or three thousand feet. But be careful, some of these rockets you need an FAA wavier to launch. High power rockets are made of thick but light cardboard, phenolic, fiberglass, or yes, even wood (oh goodie, a flying fence post)! The nosecones are thick plastic or fiberglass. The motor mounts and fins are made of aircraft plywood, (a very light, strong material used to build small airplanes). Because of the great velocity these rockets achieve, (200 mph and above), you must use epoxy or cement to assemble them, not white or yellow glue. Here are some other reasons to get into high power rocketry...

    BIGGER ROCKETS!

    THREE ENGINE PROPELLENTS!

    COMPOSITE MOTORS!

    RELOADABLE MOTORS!
