Lost Creek Kahlotus

ILR # pending
female b. 12-27-07
Sky Rocket x Megan Summer Socks

Kahlotus tied our farm gestation record, making us wait 368 days to meet her. She is growing quickly, and showing a great deal of curiosity about her world, including us.

Kahlotus has obviously inherited her parents' stellar gaits, and she may be the most athletic baby we've ever seen ... she regularly performs "airs above the ground" in her stall. She's a breeding-quality keeper for our limited classic llama breeding program, and is also a future driving prospect.

Kahlotus is a town in Washington state, with an unclear word origin. Most agreement is that the word derives from a native source, and refers to water in a hole in the ground ... a lake (in the case of the Washington locale) ... or a spring ... well, our Kahlotus certainly springs!
