St. Peter’s engages in a number of outreach projects throughout the year, including:
Christmas in April (aka Rebuilding America) when parish volunteers rehabilitate
a home in the area;
tuition sponsorship of a student at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson;
collecting clothes for the needy;
and the Christmas-at-Sea Program, which refers to knitted goods made by
parishioners for sailors.
The Christmas-at-Sea items are distributed in December by the Seamen’s Church Institute of New York. Click on the link to the left for more information.
