Creating Small but Effective Background Images With PSP5
Part II

 

Now that we can see our image, let's set the Foreground Color on the Color Palette to:
Red = 0
Green =0
Blue
=128
(#000080)

Grab your Paint Brush and we'll paint a pixel!

On the Controls Palette set the Paper Texture to None on the Tool Controls tab and then click on the Brush Tip tab.
(If the Controls Palette is not visible, hit the 'O' key on the keyboard to bring it back up.)

Shape = Square
Size = 1
Opacity = 100
Hardness = 100
Density = 100
Step = 100

Now paint the top pixel with the blue foreground color.

 

It should look like this.

Now all we have to do is Save this image as a GIF and we have a 2 pixel background graphic which creates the background used on this page!
