Are we having fun yet?!

Ok, back to the business of finding out the file size of our image. As is true of many programs, there's always more than one way to do things in PSP.

File | Open Open Icon

We need to open the file directory where we have saved our graphic. To do this we can go up to File | Open, hit the Open File icon, or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + O.

Once you have the directory box open, click on the Details box in the upper right hand corner.

Now you can see the size of our image! It is actually 8KB.

If you look at the directory box again, you will notice a button labeled Details in the lower left hand corner. Highlight the image you want to investigate, in this case it's howbig.gif, and hit the Details button.

This brings up the Details Box which gives you... Yep, you guessed it! Details!
Down near the bottom of this box is the file size information and here you will find the most accurate data about your image.
