Jersey has GREAT Diving

To the left, Kerry Coffman takes a giant stride off the Diversion II (last) November. New Jersey has some of the best wreck diving to be found anywhere!!! There are several links to other Coffman diving pages/pictures: Kerry's early days of diving, some of the varied diving in and around New Jersey (including ice diving), and hard hat diving. You'll also see Kerry's "infamous" pink fins in the photo to the left. By the way, if you click the football icon at the top of the page you'll see something I was given at one of the MUD (my dive club) banquets several years ago. Its an "inside" joke about Paul Slotterback and I ... but it has something to do with an "extended" dive I had INSIDE the San Diego (which is a USN Battle Cruiser that was sunk by a mine set by a German U-Boat off Long Island, NY during WWI.

Here's a picture of Kerry on the MUD (Metuchen Underwater Diver's) annual Thanksgiving Navesink bottle dive. (November 1999) I know its NOT a wreck dive, but its a lot of fun and we always seem to come up with several really cool old bottles.
