Fall 2008

Fall was both an interesting and busy season, and also full of
transitions (since Kari started at Georgetown Univeristy).
There were several hikes and strolls (many with Missy-Mutt).
Fortunately it also turned out to be a very nice Fall rock
climbing season, there was a LOT of nice
biking, several diving activities, and several trips to Six Flags
Fright Fest for roller coaster rides and visits by ghouls. Above
you can see the reflection on a pond during one of our Fall hikes, and
Kari at a Georgetown Thai restauraant (Kerry had a business trip in the
area and stopped off at the University one evening).
Missy-Mutt had numerous very nice Fall strolls, and the next two
pictures shows one shot of her in the woods, and the another one of her
enjoying the Sandy Hook beach.

There was also a LOT of biking that took place in the Fall, with the
highlight again being the Bucks County Covered Bike ride
(in Pennsylvania and NJ). This is the first time that Kerry did
the ride without Kari. There were also several local bike rides.
In
the first couple of pictures you can see a wild turkey that Kerry saw
during one of rides in Piscataway, and the other shot was taken
during one of the rides through Edison. In addition, there
are another 5 shots taken during the Covered bridge ride.

There was also quite a bit of climbing this Fall, and the below picture
shows Kerry on Wrist up at the Gunks (this was Halloween
day). Also, we did get
some early snow in the Fall, and you can see a bit of it on Becky's van.
Also there was a bit of diving activities. Not only did Kerry get
out of several nice dives off the Jersey shore, there were also a
couple of dive parties. There was the annual "Labor Day"
party at Cap'n Tony's and then the annual MUD (Metuchen Underwater
Divers) picnic. Below you can see one picture from Tony's party,
and then a couple from the MUD picnic (including one shot of Tom
playing pool at Chris').

Another fun aspect of each Fall, is making it to Six Flags' "Fright
Fest" for Roller Coasters and hanging out with ghouls. This Fall
we made it several times, and below are a few pictures from the visits
