Coffman - Winter 2005

Old Man winter was nice to us in '04-'05.  We had a goodly amount of snow (from time to time) and nice chunks
of very cold weather.  There were hikes, local ski trips, dog walks, sledding, and of course ice climbing.  Unfortunately,
we did NOT make it out for some cross-country skiing like we wanted to.  Kari and Kerry were planning to head up to the New Paltz,
New York area to do some X-country, but we got hit with a freakish warm spell and all that wonderful show cover just vanished.  Even
though we got some more cold weather, the snow pack never came back!!  Hence, that is high on our list in the winter of 2006.

Three of the below pictures were taken during a couple of our winter dog walks.  We see Bo sniffing along.  Often we would
walk up to the "Captain Hook's Bridge" park in Piscataway.   The second picture shows Kari swinging at this park, while Missy-Mutt
was waiting patiently.  The third shot shows Kerry and Missy-Mutt (aka Llama-llama) heading home from the park in a nice little
snow shower.

We also did manage to get to the sledding hill a couple of times.  Tubing tends to much more popular that traditional
sledding.  Unfortunately, one of our tubes has a moderate leak, so Kerry managed to stay warm by continually keeping it
inflated. Hopefully, Santa will bring some new tubes this Christmas.   There is one picture of Kari walking up the sledding hill,
and there is another picture of Tom zipping down the hill.   Kari did go skiing with Kerry once that winter (at a local resort
in the Poconos) and there is a shot of Kari (in her beloved underarmor) in the lodge between runs.

As usual there is the obligatory shot of Kerry on one of the VERY, VERY cold ski days.
