Coffman - Soccer 2005
As usual, soccer was a HUGE part of 2005!! Kari played on her
travel team (U19G - NB PDA Tornado) during the winter ('04-05), and the
Spring
of '05 (even though a broken leg suffered in track ended the last half
of her season), and then a bit of a summer indoor season (as she was
recovering/rehabilitating from the broken leg). The Tornado were
flight champions, and lost a heart breaker in overtime during the
MNJYSA State
Championship. Then she again was on her Varsity High School team
in the Fall. They had another winning record, winding
up 9-6. They lost a heartbreaker in the semi-finals of the
County Tournament, and also made it into the State championships
again. In the late Fall/early winter of '05 she is also playing
in an indoor (Saturday) HS league with the Varsity HS team, AND an
indoor (Sunday night) league with her Travel team.
The two pictures below show the boys' (Hawks) and girls' (Tornado) PDA
teams. Both photos were taken during the indoor season.
The PDA (travel) teams were VERY, VERY active in numerous volunteer
work. The picture on the lower left shows the teams being
given an award of appreciation by the town of New Brunswick. The
other picture shows several team members volunteering for
one of the many clinics that they helped run over the course of the
year.

picture shows
the bulk of the varsity squad after a game.
