Please review the material on the Mason Dixon Scholastic Quad January 10, 2004 for those born 1990 and after (92 and after for 60 and 65 lbs). If you have any wrestlers who are place winners this past year (1-3) or might qualify as a place winner (1-3) from previous years, you might want to encourage them to try our for this team. You may make copies of the application for the wrestlers who qualify and have them send to me by the deadline.

Congratulations State Place winner (1st-3rd)
You have qualified to "try out" for TEAM NEW JERSEY for its scholastic team that will wrestle in the Mason Dixon Quad Tournament. The dual meet tournament will be Saturday January 10, 2004 at the McDonogh School in Owings Mills , Maryland.
Team trials for this prestigious tournament will be Thursday, December 4th, and Tuesday, 9th at 6 pm at the Princeton University, Princeton, NJ. Invitations to trials will be sent to any wrestler in the 2 year age and expected weight category who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the 2003 USAW-NJ Scholastic State Championships this past year at Union/Lakewood. Petitions for outstanding wrestlers (top three from the State Scholastic Championships from any previous year, younger age wrestlers, etc) who did not receive an invitation will be considered by committee.
Applications for team trial qualifiers and petitioners along with 2 (two) checks must be postmarked by Monday 11/24/03 and sent to:

Here's the plan: Mason Dixon Quad
Competition: 3 rounds of Dual meets with Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
When: Saturday January 10, 2004 (team: departs Friday eve/returns Sat approx 10pm)
Where: Owings Mills, Maryland.
Awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze medals
Weight Classes: 60 + 65 lbs born 1992 or after.
70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 130, 140, 150, 165, 185 lb born 1990 or after.
For this year the 185 may be exhibition.
