[ FROM THE LONELINESS EMAIL GROUP] and this is what you've inspired today... there are people to know here many sitting in silence many coming and going some gone before they say hello so many people to know maybe some are like me so busy with life offline that these few stolen moments seem too valuable to share online when life offline is so lonely when I have a moment to rest and think and feel maybe some are more afraid so busy with defenses or feeling bad about themselves that the opportunities here and the chances to share everywhere pass by unnoticed or ignored or rejected maybe there is no answer no blanket reason for so many people to be here to pass through to choose to be silent to choose to not share maybe sharing words is not enough and after the screen goes blank when the computer is shut down the loneliness feels worse for the hope in the words was too momentary and distant to carry on in the real world of offline loneliness maybe trying to understand or explain or find answers like this is just one more way of putting up walls and not sharing and being lonely when the answer is the question and the solution is the quest to find someone to know someone to know me someone to share there are people to know here so many people to know... ©2001 Ric Candor For What It's Worth Writings Hi again...
