Hi and welcome

are there places you can walk to?
group you might join?
does your husband know your boredom and despair?

don't let silence wedge between you
let him know how you feel
he made a vow to care...

are there phone lines you can chat on
maybe to meet local friends
who have cars to pick you up and take you out?

maybe somewhere you can volunteer
to help someone and find a friend
sometimes all it takes is a good walk about

you can sit at your computer
chatting here and there and as well
though it's not a substitute for being with someone

let it out before it gets you down
and then explore around your town
do something every day before it's done...
do something you can enjoy and call fun...

have you tried ICQ?... it's a free communications program through which you can search for local people to talk (type) to in real time - like a chat...

there are also websites in most local area that help people find friends and pen pals and activity partners friendfinder is an international group of sites that has worked for me...

sometimes a volunteer organizarion will arrange a ride for you to come and give some time... sounds like you may live in an area with limited or no public transportation...

I hope some of these thoughts help in some way... even if it's only to let you know someone cares and your words and you do mean something :)

honest love, ric

PS... try to make it a point to wake up in the morning and go out for a brisk swim to start your day and then, clean up and get dressed and stay outside a little while... sitting inside in sleep-clothes can become a hard habit to break...
