I agree... and the redundancy is one reason I chose the signature a very long time ago... it's a reminder to me that much of what is passed about in this world for love is politeness or show... I suppose I could have chosen "deeper love" or "higher love" or "true love" but I chose honest love for honesty is my highest ideal and I remind myself every time I sign my name... it's a semantic meaning for me... deeper love has a a different meaning than the word love by itself... higher love often has religious connotations... true love is usually reserved for romantic references...

I think the word "love" is one of the most used and abused words in language... love is, by definition, honest... however in my experience many people do not relate the word to the feeling very much... many people have not had an honest connection between their thoughts and feelings since their childhood through no fault of their own... feelings can hurt... sometimes the truth can hurt... I've met many who turn off their feelings, or diminish their conscious awareness of their feelings, just to survive inner pain...

but for me, truth is the quest... to define a personal truth, to know anothers personal truth, this is honest love to me... and I wish the experience for everyone... my signature is there to remind me to mean it as I mean it when I use it... usually, it works :)

it has also lead to much deeper conversations about the nature of love that I've enjoyed along the way... I've found very wonderful friend and a couple of relationships that started simply based on a question about my usual signature...
