Another Week

I'm just about burnt out and my fingers are kinda sore, so I'm going to make this brief (at least I remembered this week ;) ... I see that freedom of speech has been extended to freedom to attempt to flood... ironically, MCI might suck as a news server, but it seems to have automatically cancelled the repeat posts as they appeared and were gone before I could access them LOL... they may also have some sort of crossposting limits, cuz a lot of the really multiple crossposts are deleted fast by the server... I guess there's some benefit in having a lousy news server sometimes ;)

Another Week

well guys...
it's been fun... and intersting... and enlightening... and if it was supposed to be annoying, it wasn't... I'm down to 66 unread messages as of this morning... I think that means I'm caught up, so it makes these Sunday night vigils worthwhile for me... of course there have been fewer posts
and I just scroll down the newsgroup and mark the posts I know I don't want to see as read and then ask my newsreader to show me unread posts only... so if nothing else, this flood of flame and irreverence is teaching me to use the features I seldom use...
I may not be able to make it back here as often this week as I did last week (I goofed off from work some last week... nothing to smile about, actually, just more of the same games, but I did enjoy time off a whole lot when I wasn't thinking about why I took off or my wallet)... so anyway, I'm gonna have to trust you guys to keep the peace amongst yourselves and just ignore what you don't like unless you think it directly effect you or our home here... temporary extra traffic is not much to worry about I think...
and what little time I might pry out of work for online better be given to email, since my Inboxes are higher than they've been in a long time (unless I'd include all incoming mail like email lists and magazines and stuff that I used to get)... and speaking of email lists, I'll do my best to give some time to working on the new lonely email list with my silent partner (who does most of the work, generous fellow that he is ;)
so it'll be ready for public exposure (ummm, introduction LOL) next friday (that's the schedule, for anyone interested... this'll be the mostly open list and if you guys want a moderated list, well... we can discuss it :)
I left you with a ton of words... silly babble, serious prose, and some rhymes this time... hopefully all the posts will make it through to your servers (I felt good about some of the stuff that came out, so thanks for the inspirations a lot this week :)
oh yeah, there's a new Harry Chapin link page on my pages now for anyone interested... and I just added one new rhyme this week (somewhere inside I just heard a grumble), but I felt good about it... it's in the Parts Department of the anonanonanon (to be continue...) page...
so thank you for being here, and there, and I'll be thinking of you while I'm away... anybody in my email Inbox, please be patient... it's gonna be a long week I think... I hope you have a good one :)
