THE LAND OF AH
... we're off to see the magic, the wonderful magic of ah ...

...we hear the magic lives inside so it is wherever we are ... wherever whenever whomever we are, the the magic's where it always was...
...inside the heart inside the mind inside... inside of us when we dare not to hide... we're off to see the magic, the wonderful magic inside...

>I wanted to start my own webjournal, but I don't know how
>to do html, and this is more interactive.

basic html (enough to get a page out there) is easier than most people think... but I agree, this is much more interactive than most webpages and I think the interaction is invaluable... probably why I'm here too :)

>I really hope that other people find the strength to write here, too.
>It's a lot of work, and takes a lot of courage... everytime I write,
>my stomach is in knots as my finger presses down on the "send" icon...
>but I hope they do, because it makes me feel good.

there are potential negatives out here... there are people who read messages and use the vulnerable stuff shared to fool you... there are people who don't take the words seriously and seem to get off on playing with people's heads and hearts... there are people who see the Usenet (newsgroups) as an arena for role-playing games... it is very easy to get burned or be betrayed by trusting people in newsgroups... all that said, your words about courage become even more true...

I applaud your openness and your courage... and you are right, it is a very good feeling to "trust the universe" with words that bare the soul... keep expressing yourself, feeling good, and being brave... just remember...

"there's a lot of bad and beware" ~Cat Stevens, Wild World ~

>The other thing is that a journal is just THERE. You can read it, you

>have an issue. That's what makes this so good.

absolutely true and wise... your trust is inspiring...

>I check in here almost every day, and write every day. So hopefully
>I'll keep in touch with you.

> ~K.

I don't check in every day simply because life offline doesn't leave time for online stuff every day... and sometimes this Fall I'll be relocating and probably be offline for a few weeks... but I will be checking in here when I can for it seems we've got several caring people willing to share and that is what makes a group great...

I look forward to reading more :)
