holiday hello

I'm not back yet, but getting there... or here... or wherever :)
just wanted to share my spontaneous for no apparent reason generic
happy holiday card-letter-ramble with you here cuz maybe some reading here aren't in my address book and I wish to wish everybody happiness... take care :)
(this is where the generic part starts :)
Hi... I have not had time to write (or even read) much in quite a while, but I've enjoyed the newsgroups and mailing lists I am on in the past and hope you don't mind my sending this rather generic but still well-intended message I wrote for my friends to you... maybe I have friends out there who just haven't found me yet and maybe this'll help us find each other... may it inspire a smile :)

and I wish I knew how to spell Quansa and Ramadas
and other holidays cuz I sincerely wish you joy
and wish I could make it more personal than this...
so with all humility I send happy thoughts
from the wonder of my literary ignorance
and I welcome you to teach me something
about any holiday you celebrate...
and Happy Birthday K and Rf and M
and the only and only Magical Melanie
and everybody else celebrating birthdays
(or anniversaries or anything) right about now...
now there's reason to cheer :)
ok, but if you know me, you're wondering why I'm on time with this sort of thing... if you don't know me well, well, I'm a holiday-rebel and usually will be late or deliberately celebrate on the wrong day just cuz I prefer unexpected happiness much more than the usual compulsory celebrations that are too often over-commercialized and forced by social pessure whether we're in the mood or not... I mean really, how many of you girls out there have had really bad PMS or
worse timing for a formal holiday celebration... but before we get too
personal...
ok, so having a flag to rally round isn't the worst thing in the world... then again... ummm, wait - this is no time for an anti-nationalism one-world humanity cooperative peaceful conceptual utopian society political rant, so I'll subtly change subjects again quite suddenly...
where were we?... oh, why I'm on time for Christmas and various other even more personally important holidays... sorta... well, last year on this date I found a job to step out of the bottomless pits of the mess I was in for much of 1998 and started the long road back from that place (that dark, dreary, nowhere place we go when life-poops bury us) and it was a fun date-connection (are there any coincidences... Santa says believe what you will ;)
and this year...
I found a place to live... yup, moved in today and I'll update the web pages on details in a couple of days when I have time (too much to do today and tomorrow to write much [pause to note audience reaction]... I'll accept your collective sighs of relief and cheers as happiness and support or my rising from the ashes to reach this phase two of building a new life process ;)
so check the journals and babblings (addresses below again) in a few days for more... I just wanted you to share in some of my personal happiness at this moment and hope it gives you more reason to hope and believe good stuff can happen to anyone, yeah, even you (me too :)

and so there's my touch of self-mocking importance for our giggling pleasure (so no we can close this little note)... and this is my impromtu formal-like holiday wish for you...
be good to yourself today... do something you want to do... and reach into your heart and bring out some part of yourself and look sometime in the eye and give it to them... hopefully, it'll be a smile... make it real =)
