nothing of much interest to me... mostly crossposted rants that drowned out everything else for me... but then, I've been away in another group when I've been online and I was busy relocating (Orlando now, come on down and visit the parks :)

as I see it, newsgroups are public places with a lot fewer rules and no ways to enforce the few there might be... anybody can come in and do as they please... it's up to the people posting to focus on the others they wish to read and respond to and inspire... and ignore those who they don't want to read or write to or inspire... that's the only way I've found to create a cooperative coexistence of diverse people or groups within a public newsgroup... so I suggest - contact the people you remember and write as you've always written and focus on what you want...
