The club is able to put on events due to the awesome volunteers who help out. If orienteering in NE Ohio is to continue and grow, it will happen because of you! Have you noticed that the same people often seem to run each event? Although they want to help, they don't want to help all the time. Did you realize that each of these people was at one time new to the sport of orienteering? They learned to organize events and design courses by offering to help. They had on-the-job training. Don't worry about the details, experienced club members will give you the guidance to make your volunteer effort a success. Perfection is not a requirement. Pick something you are comfortable with and like to do. Call Ken Lappin at (330) 296-6745 or send an email.
