Justin Cooper
Child Actor-"Liar Liar", "Dennis The Mennis: Strikes again (Dennis)", and "Dexter"

Date: 1999

Celebrity Encounter Story told by Earl:

Justin Cooper was scheduled to be attending a Children's Fair in town to sign autographs and Sterling and Earl weren't about to pass up this opportunity. It was kind of weird going to a children's fair but if we could get an autograph out of it, it would be well worth it. We arrived and spotted his enormous line, so we quickly ensured ourselves a spot. It wasn't very long until the crowd started to cheer as Justin Cooper made his way to the table, yeah.

After signing countless autographs it was finally our turn to meet the child star. We had brought pictures of him, but after seeing the pictures he was signing decided to just go along with those instead. Earl also snapped a picture of him when he was looking at the camera, which turned out to be a great shot. The amazing thing is how good this little kid could spell. He was able to write and spell everyone's name out pretty well without much assistance. Another thing that was great was that he had a great looking autograph, a serious plus and something many older celebrities could learn.

We looked at our pictures again and just had to get them signed so we got back in line, because it had gotten smaller. When we showed him the pictures we brought Justin's eyes lit up and he got very excited. He was so excited that he called over his mother and she was also very happy to see them as well. The picture we brought shows Jim Carrey (our favorite actor) giving him a frown face from the film "Liar Liar". Justin was just so excited to sign it and we thanked him before we headed off.

Final Thoughts

In the end it was a nice little sit down autograph session. Those are always nice for a change because they only make things easier for us. Justin was a very nice little boy, but it was still weird asking a little kid for an autograph. Thanks Justin I hope your career grows as you age, keep it up.
