This autograph opportunity happened when one of our favorites, Outkast, came to town. Their opening acts were Ludacris and Slimm Calhoun and if the opportunity presented itself; we would try to meet them as well. We found their hotel close to the venue and decided to wait by the buses for them to make an appearance. This was the first time we had attempted to get a rappers autograph and we had no idea what to expect.

       Little did Sterling and Earl know that this was going to be the longest wait for an autograph to date. We waited and waited and then waited some more after that. In between these times there were some interesting side stories and leads, but if we went into that, this story would be twice as long. To make this long story a little shorter we'll try and cut to the chase.

       Slimm Calhoun was the first one to arrive after doing a radio station interview. He arrived in a limousine and when he got out started heading towards the doors of the hotel. Our chance was slowly walking away from us, so we asked for an autograph. Slimm gladly came over and signed for each of us, despite his hands being full with food. Slimm was also cool enough to pose for a couple of pictures with us and then he was off. Slimm Calhoun seemed like he didn't mind signing for us at all and he ended up being the best signer of the day.
