Raymond Traylor was an American professional wrestler best known as The Big Boss Man while working for the World Wrestling Federation. Traylor was just one of the many wrestlers coming to town for a big WWF event being held in town. Not ones to pass up a great autograph opportunity like this, Sterling and Earl packed up some things and headed for the venue.
We showed up to the venue way too early (the security wasn't even there yet) and as a result had quite a wait ahead of us. Things started heating up once it got closer to the event. The first WWF person on the scene was none other than The Big Boss Man himself. Boss Man drove into the gates and parked his car.
Once he did this, fans that were outside the gated fence headed inside the area because security wasn't there to stop them. Earl followed the gutsy group, but Sterling kept to the outskirts of the fence. Traylor was kind enough to stop for the small group of fans and signed the magazine Earl brought to get signed. He was in a rush so Earl didn't have a chance to ask for a picture and Sterling missed out on everything. All of us thanked him and he rushed into the venue.
Fortunately Boss Man came back a couple of minutes later to get something from his car and Sterling seized this opportunity to get his autograph. Boss Man wasn't the friendliest of celebrities but he signed and we're thankful for that. It was a great beginning for the day and we hoped some of the other WWF stars would be just as nice, unfortunately that wasn't the case.
We came across many wrestlers later in the day that also either ignored fans or didn't come over to sign, here are some of them: Stone Cold (read his section), Kurt Angle (walk by), Undertaker (walk by), The Godfather (refused), Triple H (totally ignored fans), Kane (walk by), The Hardy's and Lita (walk by), The Big Show (ignored fans), among others. People that we did get to meet were Edge, K-Kwik, Raven, and D-Von Dudley, read their sections to find out more.
