One of America's greatest racing drivers, Mario Andretti has virtually won it all, the Indianapolis 500, the Daytona 500, the International Race of Champion series (IROC), the CART and Formula 1 World titles. Indeed Andretti's racing achievements are unparalleled. Andretti is still enormously popular with racing fans and is one of the most recognized personalities in the sport.

       Sterling, Earl and JR were on a mission to get the autographs of Mario Andretti and Kenny Irwin on this particular day. Mario Andretti and Kenny Irwin were going to do a sit down autograph session at a nearby Texaco and those are usually always easy autographs to get. So of course we weren't about to pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity.

       Sterling was going to meet Earl and the gang there, but was a little late to the signing. Earl and JR wondered where Sterling was, but decided to get in line just in case he wasn't going to show up. The line wasn't that bad considering it was Mario Andretti, but then again this event wasn't advertised at all.

       The first person up was Mario Andretti. Mario was a nice fella to meet and signed everything that we brought for him to sign. He also allowed us to get behind the table and get a picture with him, which was sure nice. After thanking him we continued on to Kenny Irwin, but you can read that bit of info on his page.

       Sterling eventually showed and caught up on all of the autographs he had missed. Mario was now a bit more rushed because of the crowd and as a result Sterling couldn't get a photo with him. We were all very happy with this success and took off.
