A Certified Master Gardener can assist others to resolve environmental situations, understand living forms and create a more beautiful world in which to live.

A Master Gardener gains an understanding in over twenty different areas that help provide the confidence to help others.
Since 1980 many of the finest garden enthusiasts in the Nation's Capital have trained as Master Gardeners.
You can now become a part of this organization at any time of year, then complete or add to your knowledge base, do the internship at one of the numerous supporting institutions and receive the award of certified Master Gardener.

Membership by garden clubs, educators, and others who wish to share expertise is encouraged. Please ask about our programs and schedule.
