TENTH GENERATION

210. Raymond URSOT was born on Dec 1 1932 in Thorey sous Charny, Cote-d'Or, France. I have been communicating with Raymond Ursot who is my eight cousin with our common ancestor being Jean Finot, born in 1647. Raymond is a retired Chef with the French Railway System and has moved back to his home village of Thorey-sous-Charney, Cote d'Or, France where he is the Mayor. He and his wife Leonie live in a very beautiful and quaint stone home in this village that dates back at least to the 1600's. Most of our FINOT relatives came from this village and many are buried around it in the cemeteries. Raymond is researching his ancestors, and because he is the Mayor of the village of Thorey-sous-Charney, he has unlimited access to all of the old village records. Raymond seems very, very nice and, I'm sure, would welcome relatives visiting his village from the USA. We have been told by very good friends of the Ursot's that Raymond is a "Chef Supreme" and would delight anyone's appetites, should they come over for a visit.

He was married to Leonie DOISTEAU on Apr 14 1959 in Thorey sous Charny, Cote-d'Or, France. Leonie DOISTEAU was born on May 31 1938 in Dijon, Cote d'Or, France. Raymond URSOT and Leonie DOISTEAU had the following children:
