Shoe Factory in Murphysboro when he was about 14 years old. He received about

is still listed as running a machine at the shoe factory. In the 1920 census
the family is still in Murphysboro living on Gartside St. and "Bill"
is listed as a shoe worker in the shoe factory. Bus, Gerald and Carl are born
by this time and living with Emma Jane and a boarder named Harry Chancey who
is listed as a driver at the Standard Oil Plant. Emma Jane SORRELS and William
