Troupe dancer , Near East Heritage
Dance Theatre
Kriya's professional career began 12 years ago with the Near East
Heritage Dance Theatre (NEHDT) in Chicago. Due to its authentic
presentation of Middle Eastern dance, NEHDT became a cultural representative
for every Arab organization in Chicago. The troupe was the only
Middle Eastern dance company to be selected to perform in the prodigious
dance festival "Dance Chicago."

Silk Road Middle Eastern Dance Theatre
Kriya currently performs as a featured soloist and troupe dancer
with Silk Road Middle Eastern Dance Theatre in Boulder county, Colorado.
Silk Road Middle Eastern Dance Theatre is a very active troupe which
brings their talents to many regional venues including outdoor festivals,
seminar shows, coffeehouses, ethnic restaurants and theatres.
Cabaret Performer
Kriya performs cabaret-style dancing accompanied by the accomplished
dumbek drummer, Richard of Arabia. Kriya and Richard perform regularly
at the Mataam Fez Restaurant in Boulder and Roma's Royal Bengal
Restaurant in Longmont, Colorado. Nabil's Restaurant in Boulder

Dance Instruction
She offers private and semi-private lessons at Silk Road Studio
in Longmont and Kakes Studio in Boulder, Colorado. Starting in January
2004, Kriya and Natasha will be teaching a Beginning Bellydance
class in Lyons at Rogers Hall. Kriya and Natasha teach dance workshops
