School District Examined by Hi Med and Lo Property Tax by County

Property Tax tends to establish the level of per pupil cost. The more expensive regions seem to have the highest per pupil cost. Home rule has the residents nominally in charge, but the cost efficiency results are not impressive! For regions with low property taxes, the per pupil cost is lower, for no logical reason, except available revenue is not available in the community. These findings need to be correlated to equalized property assessments rather than local or property taxes paid to support schools.
