Mythos as used by Homer has the meaning of word, speech
and story without distinction of it being true or false. In Plato it comes
to mean fiction as contrasted to logos. In Aristotle its
meaning becomes even more narrow, signifying fable and it is in
this context that the name was selected and used in the trademark. |
