Generation 1
Martin Streetman was born between 1770-1775 in Virginia. He married Ada____who was born in 1760 in Virginia. Both died in Madison County Georgia after 1830.

Generation 2.
John W. STREETMAN (son of Martin and Ada STREETMAN1) was born 1799. He married the 1st time in 1814, no name of wife is known. There were 2 children born to this marriage, William Geter, (our ancestor) and John W., which I believe was Walter Streetman. John W. Sr. later married Eady Odom in 1823, and married a 3rd time to Frances Strickland in 1827.
Eady ODOM 30 JAN 1823 in Madison Co., GA, daughter of William ODOM and Susannah GRAY.
Frances STRICKLAND 7 JUN 1827 in Madison Co., GA. She was born 1811, and died AFT. 1850 in Madison Co., GA.

Children of John W. STREETMAN from the first marriage are:
William Geter STREETMAN was born 8 AUG 1815 in Jackson Co., GA, and died 1875 in Chicot County Arkansas -our ancestor
John W. STREETMAN was born BET. 1815 - 1820.

These children were half-siblings to our ancestor, William Geter Streetman. From all accounts he had only one blood brother, John W. (Walter) Streetman.

Miscellaneous:
The following excerpt was found on the internet and was included in a book, "History of Forsyth County," written by Donna Parrish of Forsyth County, GA:
"Back when they were having hearings on the quarry for Martin Marietta, I was paid to go thru the deed books to attempt to locate references about the private graveyards on the property. My work was corrupted by their bringing in someone else (unfamiliar with old handwriting) to do part of the work".However one identifiable graveyard was located on the property owned by Levi McGinnis at the time of his trial. I assume that he was buried in this graveyard.
Because of the attitude of the churches at that time, Isaac Freeland was denied burial by his church and wound up in the Jehu Streetman family burial ground (later the Bagley cemetery - later Piney Grove). Jehu Streetman and family lived on adjoining land to William G Streetman in Forsyth County Georgia.

So we know there are Streetmans buried in these cemeteries listed above but I dont think any of them are our immediate ancestors. All of W G Streetman's family left before they died. That is with the exception of a **"Tolbert" listed on the 1870 census. He must have died because I never see him mentioned again as being in Georgia.
William G Streetman and family are listed in the 1850 Madison County Georgia, and the 1860 Forsyth County Georgia census.
Note: 2003
**On the 1910 Chicot County census there is a "Tolbert" listed as a boarder in Grandpa Streetman's dwelling. Another connection/mystery??
So this brings us to William Geter Streetman,
my Grandfather's Grandfather and the story begins...
