The First Generation

William Geter Streetman was my Grandpa Streetman's Grandfather -Our Great Great Grandfather.  He was born August 8, 1815 in Jackson County, Georgia.  He married Rhoda Wilson on September 25, 1839. Rhoda Wilson Streetman was born February 4, 1815. in Jackson County, Georgia. Although I had not intended this to be page after page of just
names and dates, our ancestors prior to this time are just that...names and dates. The information prior to William Geter has been provided to me from another family tree, and I can only accept it as true. It reads:
Generation 1
Martin Streetman was born between 1770-1775 in Virginia. He married Ada____who was born in 1760 in Virginia. Both died in Madison County
Georgia after 1830. Their children were:
(1)John W. Streetman b. 1799
(2)Ann Streetman b. between 1790-1800. She married Joshua Johnson in Madison County Georgia.
(3)Jehu B. Streetman
(4)Williamson Rutledge Streetman b. Jan. 22, 1802 d. 1884
Generation 2.
John W. STREETMAN (Martin STREETMAN1) was born 1799. He first
married in 1814, but I have no name nor information on wife. After her death he married Eady ODOM 30 JAN 1823 in Madison Co., GA, daughter of William ODOM and Susannah GRAY. He later married Frances STRICKLAND on 7 JUN 1827 in Madison Co., GA. She was born 1811, and died AFT. 1850 in Madison Co., GA.
Generation 3
Children of John W. STREETMAN & first wife are:
(1)William Geter STREETMAN was born 8 AUG 1815 in Madison Co., GA, and died AFT. 1850 in Chicot County Arkansas- our GGGrandfather
(2)John W. STREETMAN was born BET. 1815 - 1820. (Walter)
Children of John W. STREETMAN and Frances STRICKLAND are:
(1)George W. STREETMAN was born BET. 1830 - 1835.
 (2)Richard STREETMAN was born 1845.
(3)John L. STREETMAN was born 1849, and died AFT. 1880 in Grove Hill, Madison Co., GA. He married Martha E. ABT. 1880. She was born 1850 in GA/ and died AFT. 1880 in Grove Hill, Madison Co., GA.
