Receet For
 Washing Clothes
This little "receet" with artwork came on a small decorative washboard I
purchased at a flea market years ago.  When I discarded the board I tried
to save the artwork.  Some pieces are better than others.  The author is
unknown to me, however I have seen it on the Internet and it is said to have
been given to a new bride in Kentucky from her Mother. Long after the
the washing machine came on the scene,  many people in rural areas of the
South still made their soap and  did their laundry in just this way.
The spelling here is as it was meticulously written on the little washboard.
