FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BACKGROUND:

 

ACCOUNTING

Financial statement preparation for publicly owned and privately owned corporations and partnerships. Management reporting for divisional, joint venture, subsidiary entities, and consolidations, as required. Progress reporting against budgets and PERT projections.

 

DATA PROCESSING

Have supervised conversion of hand posted and mechanical systems to computer facilities, including systems design. More recent experience includes micro-computer applications. Have taken data from mainframe computer single entry systems and converted it into double entry accounting systems.

 

REGULATORY REPORTING

Have prepared SEC required documentation for public stock offerings, public and private limited partnership offerings and that necessary for ongoing SEC and IRS tax reporting.

 

PLANNING AND AUDITS

Have had complete responsibility for relationships with outside auditors. Have also supervised and prepared short and long term financial plans, using most all of the variations in budgeting and capital expenditure programs.

 

TREASURY FUNCTIONS

Have supervised and invested excess funds and arranged financing for corporate purposes through bank loans, private and public equity placements, and sale of third party lease transactions. Also participated in investing assets of Private Family Trust.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities included; Purchasing, Personnel, Stores, and the functions involving the position of a Corporate Secretary in a public company.

 

ACQUISITIONS

Have participated in and led acquisition teams involved in purchases of corporations for stock, cash and debt, and with participation benefits for the seller. Have also purchased real estate investment property.
