The MusicMan's Available List

All Alpha groups have now been posted! If you would like a database file of my "availables" I can attach it to e-mail correspondence if you wish (see FAQ's).

Also, though about 95% of my cuts are on CD, the other 5% have been put on MiniDisc from tape and/or vinyl. A few of the vinyl "masters" were in less than ideal condition. I would be in touch with you if I felt there was a problem with the quality of any track that leaves my studio.

Artists are arranged as you would say their name in normal conversation, i.e., if you're looking for Elvis Presley , you would select "E" instead of "P". If it's a group, such as The Eagles, you would select "E".

The "S/Q" (source/quality) codes are as follows:
1 = Master is on CD.
1.5 = Master is SCMS encoded MiniDisc or CD-r, or was off-lined from FM. Excellent quality.
2 = Master is high quality analog tape dub from CD. Very good quality.
2.5 = Source is remastered vinyl. Pops and surface noise has been mostly removed - in some cases, completely. Good++ quality.
3 = Source master was vinyl or tape. Quality is fair to good (some vinyl surface noise).
4 = Source master was old audio tape. Quality is fair to average (some dropout & begin/endings may be choppy).
5 = Source master was vinyl. Quality is poor (lots of surface noise & pops, etc. - but better than nothing).

Example:

Artist                       S/Q   Song Title

PAUL DAVIS                    3    DO RIGHT

Please look around, and have fun!
