How Celebrities Have Helped

VH1 is leading the pack to support music with its Save The Music Foundation. VH1 teams up with smaller groups and influential people to raise money for schools that don't have a music program.

Many music celebrities are taking action as well. Flea from the Red Hot Chilly Peppers, the Black Eyed Peas, and Macy Grey have started music education facilities that give free lessons for any thing you want to learn how to do in music, be it musician or sound mixer, they'll teach you what you want to learn. The communities these music schools are based around have had decreases in criminal activity.
