We were able to identify most of the fungi shown here with help of "Mushrooms Demystified" by David Arora. This great book is a must for any serious mushroom hunter, and is still available from Amazon.com. We did our best to apply proper names, but we are hobbyists, not professional mycologists, so errors are possible. If you see any let us know, and we will correct them. Some fungi are keyed out to genus only. We keep most of these dried, and hope that we will be able to find what species they are when we look at them through the microscope. We have many pictures of this kind, and from time to time will be adding them to these pages.
