I was born and raised in Asbury Park, which I believe, still has an influence on my work and who I am. It all started on my 7th birthday, with the gift of a Brownie Hawkeye camera. The journey has included: photo editor of the Asbury Park High School paper, Bachelor of Science in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Master of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo, photographer at the Eastman Kodak Company, and many years of selling my own work. My photographs are included in the permanent collection of the prestigious International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House in Rochester, NY. My path has brought me full circle back to my roots in New Jersey, and looking through my camera, I continue to be fascinated with the Jersey Shore, a landscape of constants and change, perhaps none more so than Asbury Park. |
