MRS Technical Solutions is a sole proprietor Information Technologies consulting business catering to home and small business computer users. As the owner and principal analyst, I have a degree in Computer Information Systems and over fifteen years experience in the information technology fields. A significant portion of my experience has been with end user support and training.

In other words... I'm a computer geek with a lot of experience helping others with their computer problems and with a fancy piece of paper to prove that I know what I'm talking about.

While working for large and mid-sized companies, I have long felt that the home user and small businesses had few avenues for computer support. When I was laid off from Lockheed Martin, I decided to try to provide the general community with the computer support that was sadly lacking.

Everybody has heard about the huge sums of money that computer people make and most people think that they can't afford professional IT (Information Technologies i.e. Computer) support. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Most people couldn't afford to keep a plumber on staff but when they have a leaky faucet they call one. That is the concept behind MRS Technical Solutions. You might not be able to afford to have me there forty hours a week but you can afford to have me resolve your computer problems as they arise.

Unlike some big businesses that you can take your computer to for repair, or go to for training or other software support; I don't have the luxury of a lot of volume. I am forced by simple economics to have satisfied customers so they will use me again and tell others. Here are just some of the ways I try to ensure your satisfaction:

  • First, you don't have to unhook your computer and take it somewhere. I will come to you at your convenience (evenings and weekends no extra charge).
  • I bring you, the customer, into the decision making process. Once all aspects of the task at hand are looked at, I will explain the options available and the costs/benefits/risks in easy to understand terms.
  • While resolving problems I will explain how to avoid a repeat of the problem.
  • I will inform you of any other potential problems I find.
  • Last but not least, I know my limitations. If your problem lies in an area outside my expertise, I will inform you. If you desire, I will bring in an expert in that field.
