This microwave oven kit barbecues, edge-heats, and removes fat from meat
and crusts bread. It is a microwave counterpart of a George Forman type
electric grill. The kit can include: (1) one or more flat metal plates, (2) two
microwave-oven browning grills, (3) a by-product collection chamber and
(3) apparatus to secure, manipulate, compress together and transport these members.
The components of the kit may be employed individually or in various
combinations. The two microwave-oven browning grills are designed to be employed vertically or horizontally. In operation, when vertical, melted fat and
other liquid by-products are removed by gravity and compression. The kit can re-crust
limp slices of yesterdays, plastic-wrapped, rye bread to its just baked state.
This invention is useful in domestic, commercial and industrial food
preparation. It has independent utility and can be employed with the inventor’s
other inventions that improve, simplify and speed food preparation. |
