Native American Travel Brochure

Tribes we will be studying:

Pacific Northwest- the Chinooks and Makahs

Southwest- The Navajos and Hopis

Great Plains- The Kiowas and Mandans

Eastern Woodlands- Iroquois and Cherokees

In groups of two students the class will research and create a travel brochure of a Native American tribe from the list. In each brochure there will be these sections:

1. Short history of pre and post contact life (image
2. Review their shelters (include image)
3. Review of clothing and appearance (include image)
4. Review of there Food
5. A short description of important people or event.
6. A review of the Native Americans geography and landscape. (Include Map)
