Born October 17, 1918. Rita Hayworth is one of Columbia Pictures biggest stars in the 1940's and early 1950's. She plays many roles from temptress to good girl. She stars in dramas and in musicals.

She is well known for her red hair and sultry dancing in movies. The GI's of World War II love her. Rita Hayworth died May 14, 1987. Her most famous movie role: Gilda.
