June 6th National trails day (Always the 1st Sat. of June) Join Trail Geeks 4x4 club at the new ORV park in Appleton MN. *Work on the trails *Wheel on the trails *Gather at Shorties Restaurant * National Trails Day is a great opportunity to get out and help with your favorite trails. Be it clean up from disrespectful people, removing fallen debris, refurbish obstacles, or help designate a new trail. * It can't be all work, let's reward ourselves and be the first ones to use the fresh trails too! Gotta play. * After a long day of work and play what could be better than a nice hot meal. Shorties restaurant invites everyone to show off your rig from 5 to 7 pm. and receive a 10% discount on your meal. You might even get a door prize or a trophy. What to bring? Good pair of work gloves. Shovels. Tree trimming tools. Anything you might find useful for trail work. Snacks to keep you satisfied while on the trail.
