History of Enfield's Fire Departments - 7:00 P.M. at the Enfield American Baptist Church, 129 Post Office Road.  Enfield's Fire Departments have a long history of protecting lives and property in our town.  Fires are frequent occurrences, but some stand out in our memories: St. Patrick's Church, downtown Thompsonville, the Enfield Inn (Colonel Hazard's mansion)...  Our small collection of fire department photos and artifacts at the Old Town Hall tells only part of the story of the courageous people who fought those fires and countless others in our town  Firefighter Scott Ellis of the Thompsonville Fire Department will present a very interesting program on the rich history of Enfield's Fire Departments.  Don't miss this program! Remember - the public is very welcome to this FREE program, so don't be shy!
