Collecting Goals for 2001

Last year's goals were a success, so I decided to try it again this year. You will notice that many of my goals are more modest this year. Frankly, I've got too much stuff. In order to conserve space, I'm after much more specific items this year. Plus, 2001 is shaping up to me a memorable year for just new releases. I would expect between 20 and 25 new figures to be produced this year as well as 6-8 vehicles. Hasbro is going to want to push Joe this year since on Jan 1, 2002, the Star Wars Episode II marketing and toy machine will kick into full gear and push Joe to the backburner for a while.

1.	Acquire a 1987 Payload.
2.	Acquire a loose sample of all 7 versions of the 30^th Anniversary set figures.	I've managed to get them all!
3.	Add 5 new International Joes to my collection. When I made this a goal, I didn't know YoJoe.com was going to offer such fabulous deals on Funskool Joes. As such, I'm going to amend this goal to not include any foreign Joes I acquire from them. It will make it more challenging.	So far this year I've added figures from Brazil, Argentina, India, and Europe! You can color this one complete.
4.	Break the 500 unique figure barrier in my collection.	With the new releases, I'm there. I've also filled in dozens of holes in my vintage collection. Heck, with foreign variations, I'm now nearing 600!
5.	Acquire 3 new original blue Cobra Troops.	I got 8 mint, complete troops plus 2 additional that were slightly off condition on 2/14/01. I figured this was going to be harder, but I guess I got lucky.
6.	Acquire 3 new straight arm figures.	I've added Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Hawk, and the Cobra Trooper!
7.	Acquire 2 mint, complete Night Force figures.
8.	Add 50 new Cobra army builders to my collection!	This one is shattered. I've probably now added nearly 100 new Cobra army builders to my collection this year.
9.	Update the website in a timely manner	See What's New
10.	Eliminate most of my junk figures and junk vehicles.
