Artist's Statement

My art is fundamental, basic, simple design principles in action. I am able to take any media and create multi-dimensional objects, including the dimension of time. Self-imposed limits challenge me to discover the maximum potential of those limits. My work exploits movement and time. One form is ‘movable’ or interactive sculpture. The viewer can move pieces changing the appearance of the overall work, thus interacting through their own movement and capturing a lapse of time in that activity.
